Patriots Day (proper name) is celebrated the third Monday in April and it used to be my favorite holiday. Schools are closed, The Marathon is run, The Sox play at Fenway, and people get drunk. It’s a glorious day and I wish with all my heart I was in Boston this weekend.

Yeah! It’s true! I have all day Monday off! I’m not sure I’ll fully participate in the holiday… but I’m stoked for a 3-day weekend!

I was shocked last year when I found out Patriot’s Day isn’t celebrated anywhere else. Shocked and disappointed.
